The Covid-19 pandemic has significantly impacted every aspect of people living with breast cancer, from screening, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. People living with breast cancer have occasionally found themselves in frightening positions since the coronavirus began., Psychological, the covid -19 and the lockdown had a negative impact on the health of people with breast cancer. During the coronavirus outbreak, the government put measures to curb the spread of the pandemic. Among them was a lockdown that seized the movement of individuals. This had a significant effect, especially on patients with breast cancer. It meant that they had limited access to the medical services offered by AWCAA to treat the condition. Lockdown increased social isolation and loneliness in many women living with cancer. As a result, they became victims of anxiety, stress, and depression due to inadequate access to cancer treatment procedures (Alipour, 2020).
