Descriptive Essay: My Experience at a Sporting Event
“Wake up, lad! Wake up! Today is the big day.” I heard my little brother shout while standing at my bedroom door. The dawning light flowed into my room, casting a rosy hue across the morning sky. I rubbed my blurred and dim eyes and marched towards the window, stretching slowly. As the sun rays hit my skin and lighten up my face with a smile, I am drawn to the world of fantasy and breathe fresh air. After taking a shower and breakfast, I accompany my friends and family to the car, ready to leave for the Major League Baseball games.
Upon reaching the stadium, the crowd was ecstatic, and for a minute, I thought I was living in a fairyland, temporarily forgetting I was at a sporting event. We walk towards the entrance to pick up our tickets. From the national anthem to the players taking part in the field events, all the visual observations of a baseball game assembled and converged in my thoughts and eyes like a slice of an American pie. Once I unfold my eyes and stare around, I am prompted to remember that I am an American citizen.
